My Skill Set

I know how challenging it feels to reach out of your comfort zone with writing. Academic training does little to prepare you for it. You can overcome these challenges with hard work and good guidance.

I’m the author of four books and more than forty professional journal articles in the environmental humanities. I have also edited several collections of papers and published both long-form essays and short news items for national magazines. I have been successful with grants and secured a talented literary agent with a cold pitch.
