I use this blog to showcase my writing. One of my most satisfying outlets is the writing I do for Chris Morgan’s podcast The Wild. Chris is a wildlife biologist who left England for the Pacific Northwest around the same time I left for Colorado. We are the same age and, though we did not know each other at the time, went to the same university in northeast England. We did not meet till 2022.
Chris is an extraordinary writer, filmmaker, and public speaker. He does a ton of polishing and finessing to the scripts I produce. Lucy Soucek and Matt Martin are his audio producers, and Jim Gates at KUOW in Seattle is his editor. They are all terrific. It’s a team effort and I’m proud of what we produce.
The first episode of the new season dropped yesterday. It’s a cracker. Take a listen to a crazy story about bears in suburban LA, lounging in swimming pools and startling the locals.
